Welcome to

Eastern Region Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean Martial Art of self defence for men, women, and children of all ages and abilities. Our Martial Arts classes in Tae kwon Do are specifically aimed at personal development, self defence, health and fitness. You will be taught kicking, hand strikes, self defence, break falls, stretching, breaking, patterns and free sparring.

You will find your reflexes, co-ordination, strength and stamina all improve with regular training, your confidence, and overall fitness will contribute to an increased feeling of well being.

You do not need any special equipment or skill to start learning Tae Kwon Do as training is progressive and as your strength and skill increase you will be able to achieve more demanding techniques.

Our style of Tae Kwon Do focuses on the martial art, fighting skills & self defence which includes throws, sweeps, wrist & joint locks combined with the practical application of strikes, punches & kicks.

Whether it is circuit training, or pad & bag work all training is designed to improve your focus, speed & energy to create the devastating kicks that is Tae kwon do.

Beginners are always welcome and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask by calling or emailing. Our instructors are all fully qualified, black belts with a many years of training & instructing behind them.
